Ultraviolette Battery Flex Makes X 47 Electric Crossover More Affordable

Electric mobility brand Ultraviolette has introduced a new ownership model called Ultraviolette Battery Flex, aimed at making electric motorcycles more accessible to a wider audience. The initiative separates the cost of the motorcycle from the battery, allowing customers to purchase the Ultraviolette X 47 electric crossover at a significantly lower upfront price.
With this model, buyers can own the motorcycle starting at just ₹149000, while the battery is available through a monthly subscription plan. The approach helps reduce the initial purchase cost while still offering access to Ultraviolette’s advanced electric technology.

A New Approach to Electric Motorcycle Ownership

The Ultraviolette Battery Flex program introduces a battery-as-a-service model for electric motorcycles. Instead of paying for the battery upfront, customers can subscribe to it through a monthly plan.
Since the battery is the most expensive component of an electric vehicle, separating it from the purchase price reduces the entry cost by nearly 40 per cent. This makes high-performance electric motorcycles more accessible for riders who may have previously found the initial price too high.
The initiative has been developed in partnership with Ecofy, a financial institution that focuses on green and sustainable mobility solutions. Together, the companies aim to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across India.

Ultraviolette Battery Flex Battery Subscription Plan

Under the Ultraviolette Battery Flex program, customers can subscribe to the battery pack starting at ₹2499 per month. The subscription also includes a five-year warranty, offering reliability and peace of mind to owners.
At the end of the subscription period, the battery ownership is transferred to the customer without any additional cost. This structure allows riders to gradually pay for the battery while enjoying the benefits of electric mobility from day one.

X 47 Electric Crossover Now More Affordable

Thanks to the Ultraviolette Battery Flex program, the Ultraviolette X 47 electric crossover becomes significantly more affordable. The motorcycle can now be purchased starting at ₹149000, while the battery cost is managed through the monthly subscription.
This flexible pricing strategy positions the X 47 as a strong alternative to many petrol-powered motorcycles in the same segment, while also offering the advantages of electric performance and lower running costs.

Focus on Technology and Innovation

Ultraviolette has consistently focused on developing advanced electric powertrain technology, especially in the areas of battery safety, durability, and performance. Through the Ultraviolette Battery Flex initiative, the company aims to extend these technological benefits to a broader audience.
The program reflects the brand’s long term vision of making electric mobility more practical, affordable, and appealing for everyday riders while maintaining the performance oriented character that Ultraviolette motorcycles are known for.

Ultraviolette Battery Flex Availability and Enrolment

Enrolments for the Ultraviolette Battery Flex program began on March 5, 2026 across India. Customers interested in the Ultraviolette X 47 electric crossover can now opt for the battery subscription model while purchasing the motorcycle.
This flexible ownership option allows riders to enter the electric motorcycle segment with a much lower upfront investment.

Ultraviolette Battery Flex Brings a New Era of Flexible Electric Mobility

The introduction of Ultraviolette Battery Flex marks an important step in reshaping how electric motorcycles are purchased in India. By separating the battery cost from the vehicle price, Ultraviolette has created a flexible ownership model that lowers the entry barrier for electric mobility.
With a reduced purchase price, affordable monthly battery subscription, and long-term warranty support, the program could play a significant role in encouraging more riders to consider electric motorcycles in the coming years.
