TVS Motor Company has unveiled the production-ready European-specification TVS X electric scooter at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. First introduced as a concept at last year’s exhibition, the TVS X returns with updated hardware, a more powerful European specification and an advanced technology package aimed at urban riders.
Unlike conventional electric scooters focused mainly on everyday commuting, the TVS X takes a more performance-oriented approach. It features a chassis-mounted electric motor, an aluminium frame, 14-inch wheels at both ends and a claimed top speed of 110 km/h.
The scooter also brings several premium features to the segment, including a 10.2-inch panoramic TFT touchscreen, Android Auto integration, onboard LTE connectivity and dual-channel ABS.
The TVS X is part of the company’s three-model electric lineup at EICMA 2026, alongside the TVS M1-S and TVS Orbiter.
Design and Styling
The TVS X carries a futuristic design with sharp body panels, clean surfaces and a distinctive overall profile. It is developed around TVS Motor’s Xleton platform, which uses an aluminium frame as its structural foundation.
At the front, a compact projector headlamp forms the main lighting element. It is accompanied by a cornering lamp and sequential lighting, giving the scooter a distinctive visual identity.
The European launch model is finished in Satin Champagne, with additional colour options expected to follow.
Practicality has also been considered in its design. The scooter gets 19 litres of under-seat storage, while its 790 mm seat height and 175 mm ground clearance form part of its overall ergonomic package.

Motor and Performance
Performance is one of the strongest aspects of the TVS X. It uses a chassis-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) producing 7.5 kW of rated power and 11.7 kW of peak power.
According to TVS, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 110 km/h.
Riders can choose between three riding modes depending on their requirements:
- Xtealth: Designed for regular city commuting.
- Xtride: Offers a more dynamic riding response.
- Xonic: Provides the highest performance output.
The scooter also gets five selectable levels of regenerative braking, allowing riders to adjust energy recovery during deceleration.
Battery, Range and Charging
The TVS X is powered by a fixed 4.43 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with NMC chemistry.
TVS claims a range of up to 140 km under its internal test conditions. However, the final European WMTC range figure will be announced after the homologation process.
For charging, the scooter comes with a 950 W onboard charger that can be connected to a standard household electrical socket. The manufacturer states that charging from 0 to 80% takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The battery is non-removable, making the scooter dependent on charging through the vehicle.

Technology and Connected Features
Technology is a major part of the TVS X package. Its dashboard features a 10.2-inch panoramic TFT touchscreen that brings together vehicle information, navigation and connected functions.
The display supports Android Auto, allowing riders to access compatible applications through a connected Android smartphone. It also offers full onboard map navigation, reducing the need to depend entirely on a smartphone for directions.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an integrated LTE connection. The onboard mobile-data connection allows the scooter to access connected services independently of a paired phone.
This technology-focused setup gives the TVS X a more advanced interface compared with conventional electric scooters, particularly for riders who regularly use navigation and smartphone-connected services.

Chassis, Suspension and Braking
The TVS X uses an aluminium frame developed on the Xleton platform. Its suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
For the European specification, TVS has equipped the scooter with 14-inch wheels at both ends. The front gets a 100/80-14 tyre, while the rear uses a wider 120/70-14 tyre.
Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by a dual-channel ABS system. The scooter also features tyre pressure monitoring for both wheels, helping riders keep track of tyre pressure.
Cruise control is another useful addition, particularly for maintaining a steady speed during longer journeys.

TVS X European Launch and Availability
The production-ready TVS X is currently undergoing European Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA), which is required before sales can begin in the region.
TVS Motor Company has not yet announced the European pricing or confirmed market-wise availability. Final specifications and sales timelines will be revealed closer to its launch.
Visitors at EICMA 2026 can check out the scooter at the TVS Motor stand in Hall 18, Stand I64, at Fiera Milano, Italy. The company is also providing an opportunity to experience the TVS X through its dedicated test-ride area.
With its performance-focused electric powertrain, aluminium chassis and technology-rich cockpit, the TVS X represents a different direction for TVS Motor’s electric scooter portfolio. Its European launch will be an important step in the company’s plans to expand its presence in the international electric two-wheeler market.
