MG Hector Tomahawk Becomes Official Car of ISL 2026-27

JSW MG Motor India names the electrified SUV as the official car of the MG Indian Super League 2026-27 season.

JSW MG Motor India has announced the MG Hector Tomahawk as the official car of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-27 season. The partnership will bring the recently launched electrified SUV into the spotlight across stadiums, matchday activities and player recognition programmes throughout the tournament.

The announcement comes shortly after MG became the title sponsor of the league, which will now be known as the MG Indian Super League. With the MG Hector Tomahawk ISL 2026-27 partnership, the brand is looking to strengthen its connection with football fans while giving its latest SUV greater visibility across India.

MG Hector Tomahawk to Feature Across 13 ISL Stadiums

As part of the association, the MG Hector Tomahawk will be showcased at prominent locations across 13 ISL stadiums during the season. Dedicated interaction zones will also give fans an opportunity to experience the SUV during matchdays.

The partnership goes beyond displaying the vehicle at football venues. MG will also be closely involved in recognising outstanding performances throughout the competition, creating a connection between the SUV and some of the season’s most memorable moments.

The move follows the announcement on October 1, 2026, that JSW MG Motor India would become the title sponsor of the Indian Super League. The league’s new identity marks the return of a title sponsor after three seasons and comes as the competition enters a new club-led commercial era.

Player of the Tournament to Win an MG Hector Tomahawk

One of the biggest highlights of the partnership is the reward planned for the best player of the season. The Player of the Tournament will receive an MG Hector Tomahawk at the conclusion of the 2026-27 campaign.

In addition, the standout performer in every match will receive the newly introduced MG Hector Tomahawk Most Electrifying Player recognition. The awards are intended to celebrate players who make a difference on the pitch through decisive performances.

The recognitions will feature on-field presentations, match broadcasts, commentary integrations and co-branded digital content across ISL and participating club platforms. This will give MG a presence throughout the season rather than limiting the partnership to stadium branding.

The partnership also brings attention to MG’s latest SUV, which was unveiled in August 2026 with two electrified powertrain options: a fully electric version and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.
