Benelli India has introduced the new Benelli TRK 552 and TRK 552X, marking the next chapter for its popular middleweight adventure touring family. The new generation brings a larger 554cc parallel twin engine, upgraded suspension, more technology and additional touring equipment.
The TRK 552 is priced at ₹7.22 lakh, while the more adventure-focused TRK 552X costs ₹7.74 lakh. Benelli is also offering a TRK 552X Limited Edition at ₹7.90 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom India.
Bookings opened on 22 October 2026 through authorised Benelli Keeway dealerships across the country.
More than just an engine update, the new TRK family attempts to give riders two clearly defined choices. The TRK 552 is aimed primarily at highway and road touring, while the TRK 552X adds hardware better suited to riders who want to continue exploring when the tarmac ends.
Benelli TRK 552 Price in India
The new TRK range is available in three versions.
| Model | Ex-showroom India |
| Benelli TRK 552 | ₹7,22,000 |
| Benelli TRK 552X | ₹7,74,000 |
| Benelli TRK 552X Limited Edition | ₹7,90,000 |
The difference between the two main variants goes beyond styling. Benelli has used different wheels, tyres, ground clearance and ergonomic setups to give each motorcycle a distinct purpose.

Benelli TRK 552 Gets a Bigger 554cc Twin Cylinder Engine
At the heart of the new Benelli TRK 552 family is a 554 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel-twin engine.
It produces 52 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 49 Nm at 6,500 rpm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
A slipper clutch is standard, helping provide smoother control during aggressive downshifts.
Engine Specifications
| Specification | TRK 552 and TRK 552X |
| Engine | 554cc parallel twin DOHC |
| Cooling | Liquid cooled |
| Maximum Power | 52 bhp at 8,500 rpm |
| Maximum Torque | 49 Nm at 6,500 rpm |
| Transmission | Six-speed |
| Clutch | Slipper clutch |
The change is significant when viewed against the previous TRK 502 generation sold in India. The earlier model used a 500 cc parallel twin producing around 47hp and 46 Nm.
This gives the new TRK additional performance while retaining the twin-cylinder character that has been central to Benelli’s middleweight touring motorcycles.

Benelli TRK 552 Brings More Technology to the Cockpit
Technology is another major area where the new generation moves forward.
Both motorcycles feature a 5-inch TFT instrument display with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation and T BOX connectivity.
The navigation package supports route planning, turn-by-turn directions, offline navigation and trackback functionality.
There is also a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, giving riders live tyre pressure information and alerts if abnormal pressure is detected.
For riders covering long distances or exploring unfamiliar routes, these additions make the TRK noticeably more touring focused than a simple engine and chassis update would suggest.
Heated Seat and Grips Add Long Distance Comfort
Benelli has also paid considerable attention to rider comfort.
Both motorcycles come equipped with heated grips and a heated seat, features that should be particularly useful during winter rides and high altitude touring.
The seats have been redesigned with additional padding, while the adjustable handlebar allows riders to alter their riding position.
New hand guards provide additional protection, and the motorcycles retain a large 20-litre fuel tank, reinforcing their long-distance intentions.
These are meaningful additions for an adventure tourer, particularly for riders who spend several hours in the saddle.

TRK 552 Versus TRK 552X: What Is Different?
Although the Benelli TRK 552 and TRK 552X share the same engine, electronics, brakes and comfort features, their personalities are separated by their chassis configurations.
Benelli TRK 552
The standard TRK 552 is designed primarily for paved roads and long-distance highway touring.
It gets 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels at both ends with Pirelli tyres.
The front uses a 120/70ZR17 tyre, while the rear gets a 160/60ZR17 unit.
Ground clearance stands at 190mm, while seat height is 835mm.
For riders whose touring involves highways, city roads and occasional poor surfaces, this should be the more road-focused option.
Benelli TRK 552X
The TRK 552X is designed for riders who expect their journeys to venture beyond paved roads.
It gets spoke wheels with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination. Metzeler tyres are fitted, measuring 110/80R19 at the front and 150/70R17 at the rear.
Ground clearance increases to 210mm, while seat height rises to 860mm.
The taller stance, spoke wheels and adventure-oriented tyres give the 552X a more purposeful setup for rough roads and occasional trails.

TRK 552 and 552X Dimensions Compared
| Specification | TRK 552 | TRK 552X |
| Front Wheel | 17 inch alloy | 19-inch spoke |
| Rear Wheel | 17 inch alloy | 17-inch spoke |
| Ground Clearance | 190mm | 210mm |
| Seat Height | 835mm | 860mm |
| Fuel Tank | 20 litres | 20 litres |
| Weight | 235kg | 235kg |
Despite their different setups, both motorcycles have a listed weight of 235kg.
That figure also makes it clear that these remain substantial adventure tourers rather than lightweight trail motorcycles.
Marzocchi Suspension and Bosch ABS
Benelli has equipped the new TRK platform with a tubular steel trellis frame paired with an aluminium swingarm.
At the front is a 50mm Marzocchi USD fork, while the rear uses a preload-adjustable monoshock.
Braking duties are handled by twin 320mm floating discs at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear.
Bosch dual-channel ABS comes standard on both variants.
This hardware reflects the TRK family’s focus on stability and comfort while carrying a rider, pillion and luggage over long distances.
Benelli TRK 552 Colour Options
Benelli is offering different colours depending on the selected version.
The TRK 552 is available in:
- Black
- White
The more adventure-focused TRK 552X is offered in:
- Green
- White
A Yellow Limited Edition is also available for the TRK 552X.
The Yellow Limited Edition sits at the top of the range with its ₹7.90 lakh ex-showroom price.

A Long-Awaited Successor to the TRK 502
The arrival of the new generation is particularly relevant because the TRK 502 and TRK 502X have been central to Benelli’s Indian portfolio for years.
Internationally, the TRK 552X had already appeared as the successor to the TRK 502X, bringing a larger engine, updated electronics and revised adventure hardware.
Interestingly, Benelli continued updating the older TRK 502 range in India even after the newer generation had been revealed overseas. As recently as 2025, the Indian TRK 502 family retained its 500cc engine producing 47hp and 46Nm.
Earlier in 2026, Adishwar Auto Ride India Managing Director Vikas Jhabakh also confirmed that a new Benelli product was under homologation for India and that the company planned further launches over the following years.
The arrival of the TRK 552 family now gives Benelli a much-needed new-generation product in one of the categories most closely associated with the brand in India.
Touring or Adventure: Two Different TRK Personalities
Benelli’s decision to retain two distinct versions is important.
The standard Benelli TRK 552 makes more sense for riders who primarily travel on highways and paved roads. Its 17-inch alloy wheels, lower 835mm seat and 190mm ground clearance should make it the more approachable road touring option.
The TRK 552X is aimed at riders looking for additional versatility. Its 19-inch spoke front wheel, Metzeler tyres, 210mm ground clearance and taller stance make it better prepared for broken roads and occasional off-road exploration.
Both still share the same 554cc engine, 20-litre fuel tank, TFT display, navigation, heated equipment and touring-focused ergonomics.
Benelli TRK 552 Starts a New Chapter for the TRK Family
The Benelli TRK 552 and TRK 552X represent a substantial evolution of Benelli’s middleweight adventure touring formula.
There is more displacement and performance, but the bigger story is the overall package. The new TFT display, navigation, TPMS, heated seat, heated grips, Marzocchi suspension and revised chassis hardware address many of the features modern adventure touring buyers now expect.
At ₹7.22 lakh, the standard TRK 552 remains focused on riders who spend most of their time touring on the road. At ₹7.74 lakh, the TRK 552X adds the hardware needed for riders who want more freedom to explore beyond it.
For existing TRK fans, the new Benelli TRK 552 generation brings a familiar touring philosophy into a noticeably more modern and capable package.
